Complete your Gold Duke of Edinburgh's Award expedition section with Rich Adventure. This expedition package includes: Access to e-learning content that must be completed prior to the training event 3 days training & 2 night, 2 day practice expedition (27-31 May, near Abergavenny) Campsite fees Group equipment such as tents, stoves and maps GPS tracking and emergency radios Expedition support, supervision and assessment participants must bring their own food for the duration of the course and personal equipment- kit list available within this website Teams will be supported to plan their qualifying expedition, with access to online route planning materials from the point of sign up and paper maps during the practice expedition, with support from supervising staff. This 5 day package enables teams to complete the required training and practice expedition to then go on to complete their qualifying expedition. We will do our best to keep friendship groups together where possible for those who are signing up with people they know, though we also welcome individuals to join our expeditions. This expedition requires a minimum of 4 participants to run, in order to meet DofE's minimum team size requirements, so we close bookings 1 month in advance of the course start date in order to give participants certainty in their plans.
