Service Description

Complete your silver expedition section in one go! 6 days on the river, camping along the way and taking everything you need with you. Learn the practical skills you need with our canoe coaches before departing on your practice expedition. One evening off to relax then launching into the qualifying expedition for the final 3 days, ending up in Nottingham. This expedition package includes all group kit (tents, stoves, canoes, safety kit), campsite fees, and canoe specific equipment (buoyancy aids, helmets, paddles, barrels and dry bags to keep everything dry). Participants will need to complete our e-learning modules prior to attending, covering elements such as first aid and assessment criteria. This allows us to focus on practical paddle skills and set the team off on their independent journey knowing they can look after each other when they're remote from us. We're an inclusive company welcoming participants with a range of additional needs and medical conditions, backed up by our team of experienced canoe coaches with pre hospital care qualifications, a wealth of knowledge and a big stack of safety kit, from radios to trackers and even defibrillators in our support vehicles.
